Regional Head of Care/Nominated Individual

Hi, My name is Tina Cox, I am employed as Regional Head of Care . I am the CQC Registered Nominated Individual, I am responsible for all areas of the business and  spend my time between the Leeds and Pocklington Branch, supporting our dedicated Managers and Staff to ensure smooth running of the business. A Carer can make a difference to someone’s life, no matter how great or small and I am very passionate about taking time to know all the staff that work for the company and support staff members who would like to progress in their career by providing training for their own personal growth and development.

My primary aim is to ensure that we have a service that is professional and well led with a well -trained workforce, that we as a company, really care about the individuals we support. To maintain a safe delivery of care and to develop policies and procedures expected of a well- run service, in line with the Care Quality Standards, Government and Local Authority guidelines.

I bring a wealth of experience, commitment and dedication to At Home Specialists In Care. I have dedicated myself to over 40 years of working in the Healthcare Sector starting my career in 1982 by qualifying as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. Over the many years worked, I have experience working within the National Health Service, Private Sector, Prison Forensic Service and the Health and Social Care Sector. I have worked in both the Live in Service and the Home Care Service as a Registered Manager.  I have experience in building new business with successful results.
On a personal level I have raised three children and now have three Grandchildren,  I have a love of all animals and I opened and developed a rescue service for abused and abandoned animals, in my free time I care for the animals I have rescued. Originally from Beverley I have lived in Holland and in Spain, but my heart is in the English countryside where I feel most comfortable.
